Coal is as soft and quiet as they come. He is in on training and has been a gem to work with. Quiet for anyone and will make a great family trail or ranch horse. This is a good minded gelding and we have been doing a lot of ranchwork with him, mainly using him in the feedlot as well as taking him out on the trails. He does not spook at things and just rides off very easily. Has taken to the cows real nice and catches on to what your doing real quick, whether it is sorting, pairing or just holding the bunch. Quiet on the trail, easy to be around and not a hole in him. We would like to continue using him for 30 days just to finish what we have started. He is very honest, sound and a very people friendly horse. He could finish out in any direction and would make a great family horse. Gentle is the key word. He's a Doc Bar bred horse. Papers were turned in late but are at AQHA right now and he will be sold as a registered horse.
